Initial Consultation/Assessment
An assessment is performed to recognize the person's learning styles, talents and motivation.

Basic Davis Dyslexia Correction® Program
Our basic 5-day Program for adults and children resolves difficulties with reading, spelling, reading comprehension, pronunciation, coordination, handwriting, and listening comprehension.

Davis Math Mastery™ Program
Davis Math Mastery™ provides tools to correct problems with math. This problem is sometimes called dyscalculia, and often accompanies dyslexia and ADD symptoms.
The Davis program goes to the root of why some people have problems understanding and learning math with traditional teaching methods. Davis Math Mastery™ does not use manipulatives, memorization tricks, flashcards, or repetition.
Visual-spatial thinkers are easily confused by the “words” that describe math functions. Once the foundation concepts for understanding math are mastered and arithmetic function’s can be “seen”, math becomes easy and fun.

Improvement to be expected in these areas:
1. Basic concepts: Counting, Quantities, Place Value, Sequence, Order, Whole Numbers
2. Operations: Addition, Subtraction, Multiplication, and Division
3. Applications: Time, Calendars, Measurement, Money, Estimation, Story Problem Comprehension

Like Davis Dyslexia Correction®, the first step in Davis Math Mastery™ is to enable children and adults to control disorientation. Once they can be sure that their perceptions are accurate, they can resolve any confusion about math with methods that build upon their creative and imaginative strengths.

Davis Attention Mastery™ Program - A Drug Free Solution to ADD/ADHD
Davis Attention Mastery™ provides the tools to correct problems with hyperactivity, hypoactivity, inability to focus, difficulty staying on task, and inappropriate social behaviors.

What is different about the drug-free Davis approach to ADD/ADHD?
The Davis approach addresses and resolves the root causes of why some people have problems controlling their attention, energy level, and social interaction:
• they experience the passage of time inconsistently;
• they think in images rather than words;
• they are highly imaginative;
• they lack a strong concept of self as separate from and/or in relation to others; and
• they lack a full and accurate understanding of the concepts of time, sequence, order, cause, effect or consequence.

Davis Symbol Mastery™ Clay Clinic
Our Davis Clay Clinic provides tutoring for completing the 217 Trigger Words. During these tutoring sessions, the individual will enjoy the support of our staff.

Davis™ Reading Program for Young Learners
We offer a two-week program of half days for children, ages 5 to 7, who want help with reading. We use the Davis Reading Program and address the special needs of the young and their parent(s). This program includes mastery of the alphabet letters and punctuation marks, pre-reading and basic reading skills exercises, pronunciation mastery, Symbol Mastery for sight words, and parent support training.

A four part process

1. The Assessment:
This is the first step in the process, and it will determine if an individual is a suitable candidate for the program. It takes two to three hours, and is by appointment.
2. The Program:
This is an intensive, one-on-one, one-week program. It is normally conducted from Monday to Friday, 9:00 A.M. to 4:00 P.M. Throughout the day there are frequent breaks. Lunch breaks are 12:00 P.M. until 1:00 P.M. every day and children attending the program need to have an adult available during this time.
The person should be well rested and come to the program with a positive attitude.
3. Support Training:
On the last day of the program, there will be support training for a tutor, teacher, or family members who will continue the ongoing work with Symbol Mastery.
4. After the Program:
At home, follow-up material is provided for successful correction of the program. Follow-up support is included as part of the program. Dyslexia Mastery Inc. provides unlimited telephone and email support and up to three follow-up visits as needed.
